    Hard to believe, but racial proficiency for teachers is not a required course and/or not integrated into existing classroom management or other courses in too many American teacher training programs.

    How to best recruit teachers of color to a profession under attack?

    How best to retain teachers of color and invest in them to ultimately attain positions of school leadership?

    How best to empower existing and seasoned white teachers to embrace ongoing racial proficiency as part of professional development?
